Local Traveler

Local Traveler? How can travel be local, you might ask. Well, I believe no matter where one travels -- 10 miles from home or half a world away -- it should be done locally. Local Travel is immersing oneself in the local culture, learning new customs, eating unfamiliar food and experiencing the place for what it is.
I have a passion for travel and for learning things about new locales. And as a resident of Memphis, birthplace of rock 'n' roll, home of the blues (and the world's best barbecue) and a major U.S. travel destination, I will from time to time hope to enlighten you on some of the Bluff City's many treasures. I invite you to share in my Local Travel adventures.
